Hello people! I’ve been wanted to write another one of these articles but because I just started an exciting new job so I’m a little behind my one-article-per-week target. Thank you for understanding and I’m sorry about the delay :( Not sure if anyone cares BUT my new role is to do development work in a research team that does meta-analysis of brain data to help adult learners with learning disadvantages (specifically ADD and ADHD) — just wanted to share coz I’m actually kinda excited about it ( ͡❛ ‿‿ ͡❛).

ANYWAYS, because of my work (and also due to personal interest) I’ve spent some time researching around for the latest computer vision projects in academia and thought I’d collate a list and share them here. The research sites that I’ve collected them would be listed at the end of this article as reference too. Without further ado, let us begin!

What is Computer Vision?

Computer Vision is a specific field of Artificial Intelligence that allows computers and machines to visualize and then make sense of the visual world.

New CV research papers are published almost every day (109 research papers got submitted to arXiv on 20th Oct 2020 and on 21st Oct 2020 AKA today there…
